I have finally emerged from my holiday haze – have you? As I’m sitting here planning out the recipes to come, I wanted to take a moment to share with you the hits of the last 12 months, with the favorite recipes of 2014 with the most views on My Cup Is Full. I hope you enjoy them and are reminded of a few tasty things you can make fresh in your kitchen this year.

2014 Favs-2

1. Slow Cooker Chicken & Artichoke Pasta

Two Plates with Slow Cooker Chicken & Artichoke Pasta

This recipe has been far and away My Cup Is Full readers’ favorite. It is insanely easy, the sauce is cooked with the chicken in a crockpot all day, and then just whip up some pasta or rice right before dinner time for an easy crowd pleaser.

2. Slow Cooker Bean & Sausage Stew

I may make up another batch of this today as the temperature is dropping. This hearty stew uses up a lot of pantry items for an easy, healthy stew full of fiber and taste!

3. Dark Chocolate Hot Fudge Sauce

Yum.. Yum… Yum…. Nothing beats a homemade fudge sauce, and it really couldn’t be easier. No need to buy bottles of chemical sludge to top your ice cream, cake, or any other dessert you can dream up. Just mix together a batch of this on the stovetop and you’ll be in chocolate heaven!

4. Blueberry Monkey Bread

This is a great breakfast that could double as dessert, with juicy blueberries bursting with juice as they bake. A special treat that is perfect share with a friend.

5. Strawberry Chocolate Hand Pies

Get a head start on Valentines day with these hand pies. The secret is to use pre-made puff pastry for a delicious and easy dessert!

6. Creamy Herbed & Scrambled Eggs

Creamy Herbed and Scrambled Eggs

It really amazed me how popular this recipe was, even as I was making it I wondered if anyone would take a minute to read a recipe for scrambled eggs, but turns out this breakfast standard is often found lacking. So if you’re interested in upping your brunch game with some cream and herbs, take a look!

7. Cheesy Cauliflower in the Microwave

Cheesy Cauliflower in the Microwave

Save that oven space for the rest of your meal with this quick vegetable side made in the microwave. Even normal cauliflower doubters (aka my husband) come around and gobble up this side dish.

8. Sausage Pasta in a Spinach Rose Sauce

This hearty dish is a crowd pleaser and holds up well for leftovers. Trust me, it makes lunchtime at work that much more enjoyable if you have a bowl of this in the fridge.

9. Nutella Strawberry Cheesecake

Homemade cheesecake with Nutella and strawberry… what more can I say? It’s a beautiful, tasty delight that you must make soon!

10. Smoked Salmon Pinwheel Bites

Smoked Salmon Pinwheels

I am addicted to smoked salmon. No idea why, but add some cream cheese and cucumber and I’m in heaven! This easy appetizer has a tendency end up on top of a bagel for my lunch on a regular basis.

Well, that is all of your top ten favorite recipes from last year. I hope you enjoyed this little recipe roundup, and I can’t wait to share more yummy recipes with you in 2015!

  1. Wow, these all look so great Mandi! Especially that blueberry monkey bread - I almost didn't make it to the end of the list as it stopped me in my tracks! Monkey bread was one of my very favorite things to make with my mom when I was little, and although we always went the Pillsbury route, I cannot wait to try this version. Plus, blueberries are full of antioxidants, so it totally makes it a "healthy" snack, right?! :) Happy New Year!
