The end is nearing, as Halloween and the end of this series is right around the corner! For this penultimate post, I wanted to share the tip of Cultivating Gratitude as a key to loving your kitchen. Thankfulness for the food we have access to, our gifts to turn that raw materials into amazing dishes, and the ones we love who can share it all with us is the source of our love of the kitchen and everything it gives us. But really, all I can think about right now as I’m struggling for the words to share with you, is how thankful I am for YOU! Thank you so much for walking through this journey with me, and sharing our love of food and all things in the kitchen. I am incredibly blessed to have this place to share and connect… So thank you!
Over the years I’ve found that whenever I’m in a funk and just can’t seem to muster the energy to see the positive side, if I can just force myself to name one thing I’m grateful for… Then another… Then another… Then… pretty soon I can’t see why I’m so upset. God has blessed my life so immensely, and even the bumps in the road are there for some purpose, even if it is only to help me grow in my perseverance and hope. So when you find it hard to love, I’d encourage you to start with being grateful, as the love will follow.
